Red face SCorp Taxes on health insurance premiums

Hello, I am wondering if an owner of an S Corp (at 48%) is allowed to list premiums as a company expense so that he/she is not taxed on it? Or do they need to list it as a bonus on W2's so that they are taxed? I am rather confused on the subject. Thanks!
