Not receiving Dependent Credit

My husband and I separated and are filing separate for 2014 tax year. However when I enter our information in at H & R block free tax filing neither one of us are getting credit for our 2 children. We agreed that he would claim both children because he claimed them all year. However the standard deduction that comes up is only $6.200. He should get a credit of $14,100 if I've figured it correctly. We did not separate until 3 weeks ago. January 9th so what am I doing incorrectly. He swears I'm trying to get over on him. I have not tried to enter the children on my taxes. Only on his.

Also the children and I did receive insurance through the Market Place (Not my spouse) and it's wanting Both of us to "Pay" for the Credit we received. Help.
