When to file jointly
Hi,

My husband and I just got married this past fall (September 2014). I'm assuming that we need to now start filing jointly - but is this for last year (2014) or just going forward (for 2015)? Any help is appreciated!

As you got married during the tax year of 2014, you CAN file your 2014 RETURN AS mfj.
