Question non-resident

I moved to Arizona from Michigan last year. However, MI still took taxes out of my check for 3 months until I got it straightened out. When filling out my taxes on my software for taxes, it stated that I owed MI taxes even though I was a non-resident. Whats up with this?

Did you indicate that you were a Part-Year Resident for Michigan State and provide the dates for the period you were a resident?
