Independant contractor never got 1099s for 2014

Hi,
I know nothing about taxes. I am an independant logging contractor in Massachusetts. I never got any 1099s from the 3 different companies I subcontracted for last year, so i never filed my taxes. Because I never got the 1099s, Im not sure how much money I made. I think it was around $10,000. I realize that now I am Very late, but I still want to file my taxes. It is not an option to try and get 1099s from the companies I worked for at this point. I am single with no dependents, and nobody claims me as a dependent. What should I do?? Will I have to pay a big late fee? Should I just estimate my earnings and go on that? I never filed for an extension (Im Dumb). Will they even accept the tax return with no 1099s attached? Where can I find the proper forms?
Thanks SO much for your help!!!!!!!
