Needless to say,accurate filing of the forms is important because the IRS continues to match income from Sch K-1 ofn 1120S to other tax returns.Since there are no numbers you can put on your 1040 since neither revenues nor deductions from Sch K1 of 1120S are being changed,you
may wait until or if IRS sends a letter of inquiry. Or if you want, you would send a letter to the location where the return was originally filed and indicate the correct name/EIN for your K-1.
