Hello. I'm a bookkeeper and I do payroll as well.I was doing employee payroll checks and there was an error.i got my accountant to fix the error ; which caused us to print each check individually. Most checks printed out of order(looks crazy).I didn't void them. My question is,do CPA or auditors make a big deal about check number not perfectly in order in QuickBooks?========>No worry I donot thionk so; doesnot matter since you keep all necessary records. You shouldn't have any issues. the best course of action is to point it outo them.since you are the person responsible for handling payroll in your organisation, you should keep a sharp lookout for. Underestimating Human Error; Incorrect Employee Details; Late payment of payroll taxes
Falling behind payroll schedule; Failure to maintain proper payroll records;
