Closed out S-Corp and now have a k-1 showing loss...

My husband had an S-corp for about 10 years when he had a side business. He closed the company and dissolved the s-corp 2 years ago.
Last week, we received a k-1 for an investment that he made about 5 years ago thru his s-corp. The investment did poorly and was a big loss. Can we still claim the loss, eventhough the S-corp is closed? If so, how do we claim it on our personal return?
