Increase Personal Tax Exemption?

Hello! This past tax year I received a $6000 tax return due to real estate investments. I'd rather have the money in my pocket amortized over the year, rather than receive a lump sum at the end. Would I be permitted to increase the # of exemptions in order to reduce payment of monthly taxes at my salaried job? I am single with no kids. I am already claiming 11 exemptions! Thanks in advance for your advice.
