January 15th, 2008 is the deadline for the 4th quarter estimated tax payments for both the Federal and State tax returns.

Taxpayers need to pay this estimated tax to avoid underpayment penalties and interest, assuming their Tax Preparers have advised the taxpayer of this requirement.

Taxpayers need to include their Social Security Number and Tax Year 2007 on their check.
