Hi, i need to know how to file my sales tax, i am in texas and i started an online cell phone home base business but i have sold only one phone and i have to file on october 20th my first report, since this is not working for me i would like to know if i can just go out of business. Thank you!

Firstly, the extent of the business appears to be de minimis and most probably the Texas Sales Department will probably exempt you from filing. So, please call them first to confirm if they are willing to do this, if not, ask them for help!

Secondly, you can close this business anytime! Assuming you have not incorporated the procedure is very simple, go close out your bank account! Period! Thats it! No need to panic!
