There are more than 115,000 taxpayers who are due a tax refund check that is averaging close to $950, which translates to over $110 million, this according to the IRS!!
It seems the checks were undeliverable and returned back to the IRS and not forwarded to the taxpayers new address.
If you are indeed one of those taxpayers and you need to update your address or even check the status of your refund, then please navigate to the IRS website, at
Internal Revenue Service and click on "Where's My Refund?" link.
Alternatively, you can call the IRS toll-free at 800-829-1954 and update your information and check the status of your tax refund. But, don't delay as the statute of limitation could run out and you may not be eligible to claim a tax refund.
