What are the amounts required to qualify for social security benefits in 2011?

The amounts required to qualify for social security benefits in 2011 remains at $1,120 per quarter, an amount that is unchanged from prior years. Thus, a taxpayer earning $4,480 anytime during 2011 will be able to qualify for full 4 quarters of coverage.
