I am paid on a K1 (taxes are not deducted from my paycheck) and I live in NJ, but work in NY. I obviously have to pay my estimated federal taxes to the federal govt, but where do I pay my estimated state taxes? to NY or NJ?

I obviously have to pay my estimated federal taxes to the federal govt, but where do I pay my estimated state taxes? to NY or NJ?”---->I assume that you are a full year resident of NJ, then since there is no State Tax Reciprocal Agreement between NJ and NYS, you need to file your NYS return as a nonresident of NYS to pay tax on your NYS source income to NYS and need to file your NJ return to claim your NYS tax that you paid to NYS on your NJ return. You can claim your NJ state return on your federal return on 1040 as long as you itemize your deductions on Sch A of 1040.
