Senator McCain's policy on the Federal Corporate Tax rate.

Senator McCain proposes "to reduce the Federal Corporate Tax rate from 35 percent to 25 percent."

The Senator believes "the taxes we impose on American companies should not be higher than the average rate our major trading partners assess on theirs."

He believes "that we have the second highest combined corporate tax rate in the industry. It is what is driving many businesses and the jobs they provide overseas." Thus lowering the corporation tax rate will help to stem the tide of businesses relocating overseas and maintain continued employment in the USA.

This is considered to be one of his strongest policy to promote the pro-growth tax policy.
